Jorge Conde (Barcelona, 1968) is a multidisciplinary artist who works with photography and painting, creates installations, videos and sound art. With these elements, he builds a critical and sarcastic universe with the excesses of contemporary society and with the current development model.
Jorge Conde begins his artistic studies at the University of California. Later, in 1995, he obtained a degree in Fine Arts, specialty Painting, from the University of Barcelona. His academic training is completed in London and Mexico.
The Catalan artist has exhibited his work in Spanish cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, Ibiza or Tarragona. Outside our borders he has starred in exhibitions in San Juan de Puerto Rico, Portugal and various cities in Mexico. The Bancaja Foundation of Valencia, the BAZ Collection of Mexico, the Seville City Council or the David Alfaro Siqueiros Museum of Mexico have his work.
