José Bejarano

José Bejarano

Born in a small town in the province of Cordoba (Spain) in 1949.

At the age of ten he was attracted to landscape and nature painting.

Self-study. The colors, thick brushstrokes and the freshness of French Impressionism were its best teachers.

Andalucia, the region in southern Spain where he lives and works, is a perfect influence for his paintings for its white villages, fields with poppies and beautiful flowers.

Since 1994 she has been teaching painting and modeling.

In 1999 he received the "Prize for the Arts" granted by the Al-Andalus Foundation.

After a few group exhibitions, in 1978 he had his first solo exhibition.
